First I tried resetting the accounts on the accounts list tab, that did not work.
Yesterday for instance there were 6 new bank transactions that should have been downloaded. When I ran the one step update it said "0 transactions".
Well, apparently I was wrong to disregard the message. Wells Fargo is now charging their users to access their online information from other programs and apps.
About 20 minutes later, I received an automated email from Wells Fargo saying I was enrolled in Quicken or Quickbooks Direct Connect, and that fees apply. Basically, if you don’t use Wells Fargo’s system, you have to pay.
I have multiple transactions per day, of which are ACH, EFT, and lockbox deposits.
I use Quicken one step update daily to update acct. Then I deactivated reactivated the accounts at Wells Fargo, it downloaded the transactions.
There are no new transactions posted to the register and there is no error or error code showing.
Note that this does not happen with any other accounts and I am able to download those transactions manually from the Wells Fargo web site.If you’re looking for a change, consider going to USAA.Oh, and all of my accounts connect with Quicken just fine!Heaven forbid you have a business – you start at .95 per month for Quicken, and jump to .95 per month for Quickbooks. The worst part about this is that the only way to get out of this fee/service is to call a representative or go to your branch.USAA is great because they offer free checking (legit – nothing required), and free checks.
